Action against schools flouting order

MUKTSAR: Despite the state government announcing gazetted holiday on Wednesday on the occasion of Aggarsen Jayanti, some private schools remained open in the district.

Despite the state government announcing gazetted holiday on Wednesday on the occasion of Aggarsen Jayanti, some private schools remained open in the district.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner called a meeting in this regard and decided to take strict action against those institutes which flouted the order.

Malkit Singh, District Education Officer, Muktsar, said, “Action will be taken against those schools which flout orders the next time.” — TNS
