Faridkot, July 9

A week after the state government made the dope test mandatory for government employees, Congress MLA from Faridkot, Kushaldeep Dhillon, also underwent the voluntary test on Monday.

Dhillon took the test at the Civil Hospital. It is very unfortunate that the land of Gurus, Sufis and legendary warriors is now facing the challenge of drugs, said Dhillon.

Under the Tandarust Punjab Mission, besides improving the hygienic conditions and making people more aware of health, eradicating the drug menace is the prime target, the MLA said.

Dhillon and his 14 supporters were tested negative in the dope test.
