Freshers party organised at Adesh University

BATHINDA: Adesh Institute of Dental Sciences and Research, Bathinda, hosted its fresher’s party at the auditorium of the university to welcome the new batch of BDS and MDS.

Adesh Institute of Dental Sciences and Research, Bathinda, hosted its fresher’s party at the auditorium of the university to welcome the new batch of BDS and MDS.

The theme of the event was rainbow, which was being depicted in every nook and corner of the auditorium.

Chancellor of the university, Dr HS Gill, congratulated all freshers, PG students, alumni and their parents.

Dr Amanish Singh Shinh, principal of the institute, addressed the freshers and said, “It can be a life changing journey for them and the university wished that each fresher should leave an impression on the institute.”

The senior students welcomed their juniors in a grand gala cultural event. The occasion was graced by the presence of the Vice-Chancellor of the university and other dignitaries.

On this occasion, a range of cultural activities, which included song and dance performances, were organised.

The event further entered into a joyous state with the western dance, based on the theme followed by fashion show for judging Mr and Mrs Fresher.

The cultural event concluded with giddha and bhangra performances.

The function was followed by a dinner organised in the institute’s garden area. The team work of different clubs of the institute played a very important role in making the event a hit.
