Malout, July 15

Union Minister and MP from Bathinda, Harsimrat Kaur Badal, has so far “brushed aside” the rumours of her chances of contesting the elections from the Ferozepur parliamentary constituency. She didn’t even addressed the public at the Prime Minister’s Malout rally on July 11.

Notably, the surprising move of the SAD-BJP to hold Modi’s rally at Malout had triggered more rumours that Harsimrat may contest the elections from the Ferozepur parliamentary constituency as Malout falls in it.

People giving this logic were earlier claiming that since present Ferozepur MP Sher Singh Ghubaya had developed differences with SAD during the Assembly elections and his son Davinder Ghubaya is now Congress MLA from Fazilka, SAD is planning to shift Harsimrat there.

However, after Harsimrat’s decision of no public address, they too have preferred to remain mum. Meanwhile, Sher Singh Ghubaya told mediapersons that he did not come to the rally because nobody invited him.
