Mansa Deputy Commissioner Apneet Riyait on Saturday visited Talwandi Sabo Power Limited and took stock of the power generation facility at Banawala village of the district.
Officials of the power plant gave a presentation while apprising her of the power being produced by the three units of the plant, apart from issues like consumption of coal.
The DC went round the power plant and appreciated the efforts of the management for their work in the field of power generation and environment conservation.
The plant officials apprised her of the social welfare works being undertaken by them under CSR.
The DC said they would ensure that the district administration and the plant management jointly continue with their work for the betterment of people in future as well.
