Northern Railways revises train schedule in view of fog

Check out before you plan your trip by train from the city in the New Year. Anticipating foggy conditions, the Northern Railways has revised the time table of trains.

The Dhuri-Bathinda train has been cancelled. Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Ambala, Dinesh Kumar said the project regarding installation of modern equipment for signalling during fog was awaiting clearance from the Railway Ministry.

Keeping in view foggy weather conditions, the Ambala division has taken various measures, he said.

He said from January 8 to February 29, 2016, the train schedule has been revised due to fog.

The train number 12455 Delhi-Sarai Rohilla- Bikaner has been cancelled on Tuesday and Saturday, 12456 Bikaner-Delhi-Sarai Rohilla has been cancelled on Wednesday and Saturday, 19225 Bathinda-Jammu Tawi has been cancelled on Monday, 19226 Jammu Tawi-Bathinda has been cancelled on Thursday, 19023 Mumbai Central-Firozepur has been cancelled on Tuesday and Saturday, 19024 Firozepur-Mumbai Central has been cancelled on Monday and Thursday.

The other trains that have been cancelled are — 12482 Sri Ganganagar-Delhi on Thursday, 12481 Delhi-Sri Ganganagar has been cancelled on Friday, 12486 Sri Ganganagar- Nanded has been cancelled on Saturday, 12486 Nanded-Sriganganagar has been cancelled on Monday, 14888 Barmar-Kalka has been cancelled on Wednesday and Sunday, 14887 Kalka-Barmar has been cancelled on Monday and Thursday, 13007 Howrah-Sri Ganganagar has been cancelled on Wednesday and Sunday, 13008 Sri Ganganagar-Howrah has been cancelled on Tuesday and Friday, 14731 Delhi-Fazilka has been cancelled on Thursday, 14732 Fazilka-Delhi has been cancelled on Friday, 14626 Firozepur-Sarai Rohilla has been cancelled on Wednesday and Saturday, 14625 Sarai Rohilla-Firozepur has been cancelled on Monday and Friday.
