Rangoli contest held at DAV College

BATHINDA: The post-graduate department of commerce and management, DAV College, Bathinda, on Saturday organised rangoli, slogan-writing and collage-making competitions on its campus.

The post-graduate department of commerce and management, DAV College, Bathinda, on Saturday organised rangoli, slogan-writing and collage-making competitions on its campus.

Around 25 students participated. The competitions were adjudged by Dr Kusum Gupta and Prof Monika Bhatia. The first and the second positions in the rangoli competition were won by Ruchi (BCom III) and Veenakshi (BCom II), respectively. In slogan writing, the first and second positions were won by Ruchi (BCom III) and Kajal (BCom III), respectively.

The head, department of commerce, Prof Praveen Garg, appreciated the efforts of the students and the department. The Principal, Dr Sanjeev Sharma, and the Vice-Principal, Prof Varesh Gupta, gave away prizes to the winners.
