Bathinda, October 18

The three-day district-level games concluded at the Multipurpose Stadium here on Thursday. More than 2,500 players from across the district participated in 16 different games.

In the 1500m race, Sukhdeep Singh bagged the first position, Jagshir Singh second and Gagandeep Singh the third place.

In javelin throw, Anmol Singh bagged the first place, Ajay Pratap came second and Daljit Singh secured the third place.

In 400 m race, Mehakdeep Singh bagged the first position, Gurpreet Singh second and Harpreet Singh third place. In 4x400 relay race, Bhai Rupa came first followed by Talwandi Sabo which came second and Bhai Rupa third.

In 400 m race (girls), Simarjit Kaur bagged the first position while Ritisha came second and Kuldeep Kaur had to remain content with the third place.

In basketball, Sports School, Ghuda, defeated Khalsa School, Bathinda, 79-70 and in another match Sports School defeated Mai Bhago, Bathinda, 35-25.
