Students of Government Rajindra College, who performed well at the regional youth festival, were honoured by the college at a function on Tuesday.

At the start of the function, Dr Gurjit Singh Mann welcomed college principal Jyoti Parkash and teachers. He also congratulated the students and teachers for performing well and winning overall trophy at the youth festival.

Jyoti Parkash appreciated the hard work of youth coordinator Dr Gurjit Singh Mann and students. He also wished them good luck for the inter-regional youth festival, which is going to be held on October 23, 24 and 25.

The college has bagged first prize in poetry, poster making, group song Indian, group shabad, classical vocal, western group song, tug of war, fold orchestra, ‘parkashan’, ‘non-parkashan’ and ‘lok saaj’ and second prize in clay making, ‘jhumar’, speech delivery, song/ghazal and ‘stapu’.
