Chandigarh, July 14

Having arrested gangster Dilpreet Singh Baba soon after he was discharged from the PGIMER, the police have lost most of the two-day remand period owing to his poor health. The gangster was taken to the GMCH-32 on Friday evening, just hours after being discharged from the PGI as his health deteriorated again.

Soon after being discharged on Friday, the gangster was taken to the District Courts in Sector 43.

While Dahan did not step out of the vehicle, the police were granted a two-day remand for further interrogation. However, hours later, he had to be taken to the GMCH-32.

High-ranked UTpolice officials said most of the remand period went into travelling along with the gangster. They claimed they had not been able to progress with the investigation due to this.
