Panchkula MC Commissioner Rajesh Jogpal flagged off a 10-member study tour of sanitary workers to Bhopal at 11 pm on Friday. Out of the 10 members, six are sanitary workers.
The MC Commissioner said MC executive officer would lead the group. The group would study the solid waste management system in Bhopal, which was ranked second in the Swachh Survekshan 2018, he said.
This is the first-ever study tour of sanitary workers in the history of the Panchkula Municipal Corporation.
