16-year-old attacked by stray bull, dies

Ambala, October 15

A 16-year-old girl was killed after a stray bull hit her near her house in Sakraon village here on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Preet, a Class IX student. As per information, the girl was standing near her house when a stray bull attacked her around 7.30 am. She was rushed to the Civil Hosptial, Ambala City, where she died during treatment.

The family members held the district administration responsible for the death of the minor as despite innumerous accidents the stray cattle could be found roaming freely on roads. The body was handed over to the family after the post-mortem examination. — TNS
