83 booths highly sensitive, 31 sensitive in Panchkula district

PANCHKULA: Gearing up for the Lok Sabha elections in the Kalka and Panchkula Assembly segments scheduled for May 12, the District Election Office has identified as many as 83 highly sensitive booths and 31 sensitive booths in the district.

Gearing up for the Lok Sabha elections in the Kalka and Panchkula Assembly segments scheduled for May 12, the District Election Office has identified as many as 83 highly sensitive booths and 31 sensitive booths in the district.

Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Dr Balkar Singh said in the Kalka Assembly segment, 21 highly sensitive and 24 sensitive booths had been identified. Similarly, 62 highly sensitive and 7 sensitive booths had been identified in the Panchkula Assembly segment.

Singh said in the Kalka Assembly segment, Rampurjangi, Baad, Basodal-Basola villages, 69 No. booth in Pinjore, 96 to 100 No. booths in Tipra voting centrse, 102 and 103 voting centres in Surajpur, polling booths in 105 and 106 in Rampur Sieuri village, 184 to 186 booths in Garhi, polling centres in 177 to 181 in Raipur Rani had been declared highly sensitive booths.

Similarly, booth No. 1 in Nawan Nagar, 42 and 43 polling centres in the Kalka Municipal Committee, 48 to 51 polling centres in Hindu Kanya Senior Secondary School, polling booth No. 62 in Kalka Tehsil office, 73 to 75 polling booths in Rathpur Pinjore, 80 No. booth in Maanpur Devilal village, 89 and 90 polling booths in SDO Agriculture Office in Pinjore, 133 and 134 booths in Bhoj Mataur village, 159 in Rampur village, 156 and 157 in Manaktabra village, 176 in Shahpur village and 204, 205 polling booths in Moli village have been declared as sensitive.

The District Election Officer said 1 to 3 polling booths in Saketri village, 7 to 10 in Bhainsa Tibba village, 11 to 15 in Kharag Mangoli, 16 to 18 in Bir Ghaggar, 20 in Majri village, 21 and 22 in Bhuddanpur, 48 to 50 in Government Primary School in Sector 20, 60 pooling booth in Bright School, Sector 26, 117, 118, 124 and 125 in Blue World Model School, Sector 16, 119, 120 in Government Senior Middle School, Sector 17, 126 to 129 in Saint Model School, Sector 16, 138 in Haripur village, 140 in Devi Nagar, 145 in Madanpur, Sector 26, 146 in Maheshpur village, 147, 148 in Sector 12-A, Railly village, 150 to 153 in Abhaypur village, 156 to 159 in Ramgarh village, 161, 162 in Billah village, 167, 168 in Rattewali, 185 to 190 in Barwala and 192 to 193 in Batod had been declared highly sensitive polling booths. He said polling booths in 141, 142 in Nada, 176 in Naggal, 180, 181 in Khatauli and 195 and 196 in Bharelly village in the district had been declared sensitive.
