CHANDIGARH: The Additional Solicitor General of India and member of the Law Commission, Satya Pal Jain, called on the President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, in Delhi on Thursday evening.

Chandigarh, July 13

The Additional Solicitor General of India and member of the Law Commission, Satya Pal Jain, called on the President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, in Delhi on Thursday evening.

The meeting, which was held at the Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi, lasted for about half an hour.

It was a courtesy call after the re-appointment of Jain as the Additional Solicitor General of India for another three years by the President of India.

Jain apprised the President about certain important cases of the Government of India. He also brought to the notice of the President various issues being examined and other academic activities undertaken by the Law Commission of India.
