Admn to hold events against plastic use

The district administration will hold special programmes under Mission Tandarust Punjab in 231 villages in Patiala. Subdivisional Magistrate Anmol Singh Dhaliwal on Wednesday conducted a meeting of officials of various departments and said the programs would be started from villages including Bhunreri, Daulatpur, Daun Kalan and others from July 12. He said the people would be informed about ill-effects of plastic and its use. People would be informed about the matter by officials from the Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB). —TNS
