Amrendra scored 23 points as Gurukul Global School (Mani Majra) defeated PML SD School (Sector 32) 84-56 in the Youth State Basketball Championship.
Sunny also contributed in the win by scoring 25 points. Ansh (29 points) and Karan (18 points) were the top performers for the Sector 32 team. GNPS (Sector 36) registered a 58-23 win over NPS (Sector 18). Gagandeep (20 points) and Dhruv (15 points) ensured an easy victory for the side. Ramandeep (16 points) and Gaurav (11 points) reduced the margin for the Sector 18 team. In the girls’ category, GNPS logged a 42-17 victory over Carmel Convent School with the help of Niharika (19 points) and Shreya (6 points). —TNS
