VP Singh Badnore, Punjab Governor and UT Administrator, asked the Rotarians to continue their support to solve various issues that the city face today.

Addressing the Rotary Club of Chandigarh at the installation of the new team under the leadership of Amrit Pal Singh at the CII here on Sunday, Badnore complimented the Rotarians for undertaking Rs 40 lakh project of renovating the cremation ground toilets and committing to maintain the same for five years.

Outgoing president Piara Singh Matharoo presented the Collar of Club President to the incoming leader, Amrit Pal Singh.

Rotary Club of Chandigarh is celebrating 60 years of its existence in the city, having been chartered on May 10, 1958, and plans to initiate more projects under this programme.
