The Student’s Nurses Association (SNA) unit of Chandigarh and the National Institute of Nursing Education (NINE), PGI, on Tuesday organised an annual fete and sale for fund raising for poor patients.
The fete, which was inaugurated by PGI Director Prof Jagat Ram, was held under the guidance of Dr Sandhya Ghai, Principal NINE, PGI, and SNA Advisor Dr Sunita Sharma.
A total of 30 stalls, including craft items, fun-filled games and a variety of national cuisines, were put up by students.
The highlight was ‘dal bhatti choorma’ by Rajasthani students, ‘idli dosa’ and ‘vada’ by South Indian students and ‘saag makki ki roti’ and ‘lassi’ by Punjabi students.
Visitors also participated in talent show, dart game, tambola and ‘matki phor’. A selfie corner was also created to attract visitors.
