Apply for 2nd counselling from today

Applicants seeking second chance for admission under the centralised system to all city Panjab University-affiliated colleges can give their willingness online on the website of the Director, Higher Education, which will be open on July 12 and 13.The colleges will hold second counselling on July 18, while third counselling will be held on July 23. Following this, de-reservation of seats will be conducted on July 24.

Second counselling was open for three kinds of applicants. In case, the admitted student in the first round is interested in taking second chance, he has to give his/her willingness online. The admitted students would be considered only if he may be allotted seat in higher order of preference given at the time of applying, subject to availability of seats, preferences given at the time of applying and merit. Other applicants allotted college in the first round but could not report and are interested in taking second chance have to give willingness on the website. All those who were not allotted college in the first round of admissions would be automatically considered in the second round of admissions. — TNS
