Arnav’s brace helps Smart Wonders beat St Soldier 4-0

Arnav Puri scored a brace as Smart Wonders School drubbed St Soldier School, Mohali, 4-0 in a Suchinta Khorana Memorial U-11 Football Trophy match at Shishu Niketan Public School here today. 

Puri scored in the 8th and 11th minutes of the match. Manjeet Singh (12th) and Jarman Sivia (42nd) added a goal each to the St Soldier tally. 

In another match, Vivek High School beat Ashiana Public School, Sector 46, 1-0. Aarav scored the lone goal of the match in the 2nd minute. 

Shemrock School beat Doon International School 2-1 on penalties after the two sides were locked 0-0 at the end of the regulation time. 

Abhishek and Jashan Bajaj converted their spot kicks for Shemrock School, while Aghamjot was the only scorer for Doon School. 

Ryan International School, Mohali, blanked hosts Shishu Niketan Public School 2-0. Rajveer Singh conceded an own goal in the 9th minute, while Shreeyush Nair scored for Ryan Scholl in the 23rd minute.
