Chandigarh, February 21
The parking firm, Arya Toll Infra Limited, has challenged the Municipal Corporation (MC) order cancelling the contract with it in the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
Sources said the company moved the court two days after the civic body cancelled the contract as it failed to deposit instalments to the tune of Rs 3.69 crore.
The company took the plea that the MC did not hear its views and the decision would render over 450 employees of the firm jobless. — TNS
