MOHALI: The tyres of a three-wheeler were stolen, while windowpanes of three cars were damaged by unknown miscreants in Balongi yesterday.

The tyres of a three-wheeler were stolen, while windowpanes of three cars were damaged by unknown miscreants in Balongi yesterday. The incident occurred near a pond at B Block of Adarsh Colony in Balongi.

Pawan Kumar, Taranpreet Singh and others, residents of Adarsh Colony, informed the police that the miscreants broke two windowpanes of two cars, while the windowpane of another car had cracks. They said some drug addicts could often be seen sitting at the spot and they could be behind the crime.

Station House Officer of the Balongi police station Manphool Singh said they had received a complaint regarding the theft of tyres of a three-wheeler and damage to windowpanes of cars.

He said they were trying to get CCTV footage to get a clue about the miscreants.
