A motorcyclist died in a road accident here. The deceased has been identified as Sahilpreet Singh (17) of Nabha here.
Avtar Singh, maternal grandfather of the deceased, said his grandson used to stay with him. Sahilpreet died after his two-wheeler was hit by a vehicle. He said the suspect fled from the spot after the mishap.
The police have registered a case under Sections 279 (rash driving) and 304-A (causing death by negligence) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against an unidentified person.
