CHANDIGARH: A 24-year-old motorcyclist died in a road accident at the Sector 39/40 light point on the intervening night of October 20 and 21.

Chandigarh, October 21

A 24-year-old motorcyclist died in a road accident at the Sector 39/40 light point on the intervening night of October 20 and 21.

The victim, Abhishek Rana, a resident of Sector 56, was a web designer. Sources said he was returning home after attending a wedding in Sector 35 when the accident took place. The police were informed. The victim was rushed to a government hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
