BJP uses ‘vikas rath’ to woo voters

CHANDIGARH:The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has started a campaign under which a ‘vikas rath’ is being used to give information about work done by the government in the last five years under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has started a campaign under which a ‘vikas rath’ is being used to give information about work done by the government in the last five years under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. 

Talking about the campaign, BJP media and Chandigarh Ward No. 9 election in charge Ravinder Pathania said, “Two such ‘vikas raths’ are being used to spread information and awareness among the people of Chandigarh about various developmental works undertaken by the BJP government.” 

“Under the campaign, the ‘rath’ visited Sectors 39, 40 and 41 where local residents were shown report card of the BJP government as well as an address from Modi himself,” he added. 

“The objective of the campaign is to make people aware of the party ideology and all work accomplished by the BJP government in the last five years so that residents can decide on whom to vote in the upcoming elections,” said Pathania. 

“People are excited to know about so many achievements of the government. Earlier, they were not aware of such developments,” he added.
