Chandigarh, October 21 

Baba Kundan Singh (BKS) College, Muhar, won the Panjab University Inter-college wrestling (Greco Roman) championship for men. GGD SD College, Sector 32, claimed the second position and DAV College, Sector 10, finished third.

Bijender Singh of BKS College claimed the gold in the 55kg category. Sushil of Sri Guru Gobind Singh (SGGS) College, Sector 26, won the silver, while Mohit of SD College claimed the bronze. 

In the 60kg category final, Sachin Sharma of SD College defeated Anand of BKS College. Ankit of Post Graduate Government College, Sector 11, claimed the third position.  Lovedeep Singh of DAV College, Abohar, claimed the gold in the 63kg category by defeating Sumit Kumar of SD College. Gurbhej Singh of BKS College claimed the third position. 

In the 67kg category final, Krishan Kant of GNC, Narangwal, defeated Ramandeep Singh of BKS College. Vinit Kumar of SGGS College claimed the third position. In the 72kg category final, Vikas Kamboj of GNC, Narangwal, overpowered Lovepreet Singh of GN Khalsa College, Abohar, to bag the gold. Baljinder Kumar of DAV College, Jalalabad, finished third. Aditya Kundu of SD College won the 77kg category final by defeating Anmol Singh of DAV College, Sector 10. Arshdeep of Arya College, Ludhiana, finished third. 

In the 82 kg category final, Karandeep of BKS College and Rajneesh of SD College claimed the top-two positions, respectively, while Navjot Singh of Malwa College, Bondli, finished third.

Sonu Kumar of BKS College claimed the gold in the 88kg category. He defeated Vikas Beniwal of DAV College, Sector 10. Parminder Singh of SGGS College claimed the third position. 

In the 97kg category final, Amandeep Singh of Malwa College, Bondli, beat Lovepreet Singh of GPC, Alour, while Juzar Singh of BKS College claimed the third position. Fateh Singh of GNC Ferozepur claimed the gold in the 130kg category. 

Gurkirat Singh of Arya College finished second, followed by Manau Kumar of BKS College at the third position.
