CHANDIGARH: Rohit Danda and Shasya Jamwal took four wickets each to pack Yamunanagar for 201 runs in the ongoing Haryana Inter-District Championship for Pataudi Trophy at Mahajan Cricket Grounds in Mani Majra.

Rohit Danda and Shasya Jamwal took four wickets each to pack Yamunanagar for 201 runs in the ongoing Haryana Inter-District Championship for Pataudi Trophy at Mahajan Cricket Grounds in Mani Majra. 

Yamunanagar openers Aman Karanwala and Vikramjeet Singh scored 26 runs. Their partnership was broken when Danda accounted for Vikramjeet (8). Next-in, Mohit Kumar (22) helped Karanwala raise a 58-run for the second wicket. Kumar was run-out by Ankit on the team’s total of 86.

Jamwal claimed Gurjinder Shergil (19), Jitender Singh (6) and Vikas Mandwal (12) to reduce the side to 136/5. Karanwala found an able partner in Vishal. The duo took the total to 180 before Vishal (40) fell prey to Vikas Bamel. 

Danda accounted for Sachin Kumar (6), Avdesh Kaushal (1) and Vikram Rana (6) to bundle out the side on 190 runs. Jamwal claimed the last wicket of Karanwala (70) to pack the visitors on 201 runs. 

Danda claimed his share of wickets for 21 runs, while Jamwal gave away 38 runs.In reply, the city boys ended their day on 149/3 3 with Manul (69) and Ankit Kumar (60) remaining unbeaten. Vikram Rana accounted for three wickets for Yamunanagar. 

Ambala score 281 runs against Panchkula 

Ambala boys posted  281/9 against Panchkula.  Raman (98) and Gaurva (50) scored major contributions in the total. In reply, Panchkula closed the day on 76 for no loss.
