Chattha gets 2nd consecutive term

PATIALA:Gurpreet Singh Chattha was elected as president of Patiala Medial Club for second consecutive term here on Sunday.

Gurpreet Singh Chattha was elected as president of Patiala Medial Club for second consecutive term here on Sunday. 

Returning officer Kuljit Singh, assistant returning officer, GP Singh and Surjit Singh Bhatti said a total of 76 votes were polled for the post of president. Of these, 42 votes were polled in favour of Gurpreet Singh Chattha and 33 in favour of Vishal Rambani. 

Other officer-bearers, included Manish Sirhindi elected as senior vice president, Khushvir Toor and Kulvir Dhaliwal as vice president, Navdeep Dhingra as cashier, Parmeet Singh as secretary, Sanjay Verma, Parmjit Parwana and Bharat Batish as joint secretary and Karam Prakash was elected as press secretary. — TNS
