After registering a 7-0 win in their previous outing, Chitkara International School, Sector 25, held DAV HZL Senior Secondary School, Udaipur, to a 1-1 draw in their Pool D match on the fifth day of the U-17 Subroto Cup at New Delhi today.
Gurtegbir scored for Chitkara, while Subash struck for the Udaipur school.
In another Pool D match, Esteqlal High School, Afghanistan, registered a 12-0 win over Jawahar Matric Higher Secondary School, Tamil Nadu.
The Tamil Nadu outfit had yesterday gone down 0-7 to Chitkara boys.
Meanwhile, SGGHS High School, Patna, thrashed Rajkumar College, Gujarat, 18-1 in a Pool H encounter today.
Kundan Kumar and A Raj scored five goals each, while Ajay Kumar and Surat Kumar added three goals apiece to the SGGHS tally. Xavier scored a brace. SP Ram was the lone scorer for the Gujarat side.
In another high scoring match, Government Pukpui High School, Lunglei, Mizoram, handed a 16-0 drubbing to Shri Ram School, New Delhi.
Letminlun Sincison, T Malsawmzuala, C Lalmuanpuia, Joseph Lalmuanawma, M Lalpektluanga, Lalrinturila, Laldanmawia and Lalmalswamzula scored for the Mizoram school.
Bampather Benagenabari Higher Secondary School, Assam, decimated Muslim Centre College, Sri Lanka, 15-0 in a Pool H match.
Siva Tanti scored five goals for the Assam school. AR Das and M Mahela scored a hatr-trick each, while K Dey struck a brace. KM Saikia and B Basumatari netted a goal each.
