Panchkula: CL DAV Public School, Sector 11, Panchkula, celebrated its annual day at Indradhanush Auditorium, Sector 5.



Panchkula: CL DAV Public School, Sector 11, Panchkula, celebrated its annual day at Indradhanush Auditorium, Sector 5. HR Gandhar, Adviser to the president, DAV College Management Committee, New Delhi, and Vishal Seth, Technical Adviser, PWD, graced the occasion as the chief guest and the guest of honour, respectively. Amid cheer, laughter, music and dance, a troupe of 1,000 students mesmerised everyone with their spectacular performances.

Ryan International 

Chandigarh: An excursion was planned to the Meteorological Park, Sector 39, Chandigarh, for students of Class V. Children had wonderful experience of measuring atmospheric pressure, wind speed and direction, sun light, rainfall with different instruments. Students found the trip to be informative and knowledgeable.

Saint Soldier 

Chandigarh: The annual sports day of Saint Soldier International School, Sector 28-B, Chandigarh, was organised for the primary wing. Neena Sawhney, eminent educationist and former Principal of Chandigarh College of Education, Landran, presided over the function as the chief guest. A large number of races such as hoola-hoop race and run-with-cap were held. Prizes and trophies were given away by the Chief Guest.

St Soldier, Mohali

Mohali: St Soldier School commemorated its 25 glorious years 

by organising a musical extravaganza — ‘Oliver’. The show 

revolved around the titular orphan named ‘Oliver’ played by Akshara and Bhavya. Principal Anjli Sharma applauded the performance of the students and thanked the management for providing logistic support.

Satluj Public 

Panchkula: A planetarium show was organised for the middle section students. Students enjoyed space journey and explored the universe. 

NBN Smart School 

Panchkula: NBN Smart School, Sector 12-A, Panchkula, celebrated 50 years of its inception. Annual day function on ‘Mellifluent Symphony’ was organiSed. Gyan Chand Gupta, MLA Panchkula, and Dr Kumud Bansal, Director, Sahitya Academy, Haryana, were the chief guests, along with school chairperson and director. A bonanza of musical performances, orchestra and dances took the centre stage at the annual day celebrations. Students were awarded certificates and trophies for academic performances.

Sunfields International 

Kurali: A hand puppet show was organised for kindergarten students. Teachers narrated stories with the help of puppets. It was an informative learning session.

St Joseph’s 

Chandigarh: A trip was organised to Adventures Resort in Dera Bassi for students of Classes IV and V by the management of St Joseph’s School, Sector 44-D, Chandigarh. It was indeed a thrilling experience for both students and teachers as they were engaged in mind games and adventure activities such as rock climbing, bridge and tunnel crossing and jumping jacks.

Century Public 

Nayagaon: The 24th annual function of Century Public School was held on the school premises. HS Hundal, District Education Officer (Secondary Education), was the chief guest. A cultural programme was presented on the occasion. The chief guest gave away prizes to students who excelled in academics, sports and other activities. The annual report was presented by Principal Rajesh Bansal.

The Holy Wonder 

Kharar: With an aim to ignite national feelings among students, the Holy Wonder Smart School celebrated Armed Forces Flag Day. Lectures and various activities highlighting the importance of the day were held. Students were told that the day was celebrated to honour the retired and serving personnel of the Armed Forces.

Indus Public School 

Kharar: Indus Public School, Badala Raod, celebrated Armed Forces Flag Day. The aim was to create awareness about sacrifices made by the Armed Forces personnel in protecting and safeguarding the country. Director Col CS Cheema, Manager Col SPS Cheema and Principal Parampreet motivated the students to join Armed Forces. TNS
