Panchkula: CL DAV Public School, Sector 11, Panchkula, celebrated its annual day at Indradhanush Auditorium, Sector 5. HR Gandhar, Adviser to the president, DAV College Management Committee, New Delhi, and Vishal Seth, Technical Adviser, PWD, graced the occasion as the chief guest and the guest of honour, respectively. Chandigarh: An excursion was planned to the Meteorological Park, Sector 39, Chandigarh, for students of Class V. Children had wonderful experience of measuring atmospheric pressure, wind speed and direction, sun light, rainfall with different instruments. Chandigarh: The annual sports day of Saint Soldier International School, Sector 28-B, Chandigarh, was organised for the primary wing. Neena Sawhney, eminent educationist and former Principal of Chandigarh College of Education, Landran, presided over the function as the chief guest. It was indeed a thrilling experience for both students and teachers as they were engaged in mind games and adventure activities such as rock climbing, bridge and tunnel crossing and jumping jacks.
