Chandigarh, December 9
The Chandigarh Congress Urban -II and the Block Congress Committee, Mani Majra, held a public meeting at Indira Colony here today.
Former Union Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal and city Congress president Pradeep Chhabra were also present on the occasion.
During the meeting, Bansal alleged that during the BJP regime, Indira Colony was treated badly and the park was in a bad shape.
He added that the lives of local residents had become miserable due to dirty drains flowing by the colony.
Chhabra said the MC burdened every section of the society by imposing several taxes. — TNS
