Constitution of RWA-MHC amended for transparency

CHANDIGARH: The Residents’ Welfare Association Modern Housing Complex (RWA-MHC), Mani Majra, has changed the constitution of the association during the annual general body meeting held here today.

The Residents’ Welfare Association Modern Housing Complex (RWA-MHC), Mani Majra, has changed the constitution of the association during the annual general body meeting held here today.

RWA president Col Gursewak Singh said the aim was to make the functioning of the RWA more transparent and democratic.

A committee of five members, headed by Gurdeep Singh Deep, was formed to propose amendments in the constitution of the RWA. Col Gursewak Singh presented the committee report on the proposed amendments, which were approved by the members during the meeting. The RWA represents 12,000 residents of 3,000 dwelling units in the MHC.

On the occasion, Justice HS Bhalla inaugurated a free medical check-up camp. Area councillor Jagtar Singh Jagga was also present. — TNS
