Students of APJ Public School, Mundi Kharar, celebrated Dasehra and enjoyed Ramlila along with a cultural function.
The function began with the enlightenment ceremony followed by devotional songs. An effigy of Ravana was also burnt.
Students of Shemrock Wonders School, Kharar, also celebrated Dasehra with great zeal and enthusiasm. Teachers staged Ramlila for the students to make them aware about the significance of the festival.
The festival fervor was at its peak when everybody performed garba to win the title of garba queen. Principal Monica Gupta said one should the path of righteousness to make the world more peaceful.
