DC inspects development works at Rajindra Hospital

PATIALA: Deputy Commissioner Kumar Amit made a surprise visit to inspect the various development works at Government Rajindra Hospital here on Monday.

Deputy Commissioner Kumar Amit made a surprise visit to inspect the various development works at Government Rajindra Hospital here on Monday.

During the visit, Kumar Amit visited various bathrooms of the wards of the hospital. Amit assured that projects worth Rs 3.52 crore to upgrade the bathrooms will be completed by January 31.

Moreover, the DC said the ongoing work of the new parking lots in the hospital would be finished by December 31. The DC also said that other development works in the hospital, including sewerage upgrade and sewage treatment plant, would be completed soon.

Kumar Amit said: “I have asked the officials that all development works should be completed in time. Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and Health Minister Brahm Mohindra have asked that all works related to the hospital should be done on a priority basis.”
