DGP inaugurates renovated police headquarters

PANCHKULA:Director General of Haryana Police, BS Sandhu, inaugurated the renovated building at the police headquarters here on Thursday.

Director General of Haryana Police, BS Sandhu, inaugurated the renovated building at the police headquarters here on Thursday. 

The renovated air-conditioned building houses state-of-art facilities for all officers and officials of the state police and visitors, including high-speed glass lifts, energy-efficient lighting having LED lights, 100 per cent power backup, fire fighting and fire alarm system.

Sandhu thanked Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar for extending support to upgrade the infrastructure. He said the new building would increase the efficiency of one of the best police force in the country. He also thanked Haryana Police Housing Corporation Chairman Parminder Rai for helping in the renovation worth Rs 6.81 crore. 

KK Mishra, DGP Headquarters; PK Agrawal, DGP Crime; AS Chawla, ADGP Operations; HS Doon, IGP Modernisation; and other senior officers were present.
