Docs from Haryana weave magic at IMA cultural evening

Chandigarh: As many as 56 member doctors of Indian Medical Association ( IMA) from all over Haryana virtually administered an overdose of entertainment at a state-level mega musical contest, organised by the IMA Panchkula, at the Navrang Theatre Balbhavan here today.

As many as 56 member doctors of Indian Medical Association ( IMA) from all over Haryana virtually  administered an overdose of entertainment at a state-level mega  musical contest, organised by the IMA Panchkula, at the Navrang Theatre Balbhavan  here today.   

The chairman sports and cultural wing, Dr Pardeep Bhardwaj, welcomed IMA national president Dr Rajan Sharma and  Haryana state president Dr Munish Prabhakar, besides IMA Panchkula president Dr Rajiv Arya before the mega event. 

 The state-level completion was  held in four categories, including  male solo,  female solo,  duet  and  instrumental music category. Music duo of Lovely -Vinod provided orchestral support.

The panel of judges included Prof Arvind Sharma, former chairman, PU Music Department, music director Atul Sharma and Rimpy Prince. 

The results in following contested categories are:

Vocal Solo Male: Dr Pardeep Bhardwaj (I), Dr Mahesh (II), Dr RM Arora and Dr Manoj Sharma (III) and Dr. Mukul Goswamy (Special prize).

Vocal solo female: Dr Rosy Aneja (I), Dr Sandhya (II), Dr Anamika (III).

Duets: Dr Vijay and Dr Sandhya (I), Dr Rosy and Dr Pardeep Bhardwaj (II), Dr Mahesh and Dr Tejinder (III).

Instrumental music: 

Dr Dhya (I), Dr RM 

Arora (II) Dr Pradeep Bhardwaj (III).

Spouse and progeny: Dr Viswas Bhardwaj (I), Sunita Nain (II) Sahil Kapur (III).  Mementos were presented to winners.
