Use water wisely

Water is something we can’t live without. People keep using water without giving an ounce of thought to its requirement, especially in cities. They use water to wash their cars and other vehicles. In rural areas, some people don't even get water to quench their thirst. Their day-to-day activities get snapped due to the unavailability of water. We should try to stop wasting water and start using it wisely. — Kreeti Bansal, Nabha

Fatal accidents

Overspeeding is not the only reason for late-night accidents. Drunken driving, wrong side overtaking, jumping traffic signals, underage driving, ill-trained driving also contribute to road accidents. The police need to be highly alert particularly during night hours and should put additional speed barriers and nakas to check overspeeding and other traffic rule violations to avoid such fatal accidents. — Sanjay Chopra, Mohali
