Drug peddler arrested with 7-gm heroin

The Kharar Sadar police have  arrested a drug peddler identified as Manjul, a resident of Kurali, following the recovery of 7 gm of heroin from his possession. 

Giving more information, ASI Jivan Singh said he was deployed at the T-point of Ghataur village on the Kharar-Kurali road. He saw a young man getting down from a three-wheeler coming from  the Kurali side.  On seeing the police party the accused became nervous, he said. The police became suspicious and during search 7 gm of heroin was recovered from him, he added. 

“A case under the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused in this connection,” the ASI said.
