Chandigarh, October 10
Students of Chandigarh University, among the two teams participating in the Shell Eco-Marathon Challenge from the Punjab region, are gearing up to present their first urban concept vehicle under the banner of their college “Team Gold” at the event.
In a statement the university authorities have stated: “As part of ‘Make The Future’ (MTF), Shell’s festival drives dialogue, collaboration and innovation around the world’s energy challenges. The Shell Eco-Marathon (SEM) features cars built by engineering students that test not how fast you can go, but how far.”
The Chandigarh team comprises 10 members, including a faculty adviser. The SEM will be held in Chennai from December 6 to 9. — TNS
