Two motorcycle-borne youths sped away after snatching earrings of a former member of the local Municipal Council here on Saturday evening.
According to the information available, the incident took place around 7 pm when the victim, Meena Sharma, was returning home after purchasing vegetables from Apni Mandi at Dasehra Ground here. She was holding bags in her hands when two youths, who were on a motorcycle, came and snatched her earring before speeding away.
The Kharar City police were informed about the incident.
