Fatehgarh Sahib, Feb 18
Parshant Kumar Goyal took over the charge of the Fatehgarh Sahib Deputy Commissioner today.
He replaced Shiv Dular Singh Dhillon, who has been posted as the Amritsar Deputy Commissioner. He was earlier the Director General of School Education (DGSE) at Mohali.
He was accorded a warm welcome by officials of the district administration. Contingents of the Punjab Police presented the guard of honour on the occasion.
Before taking the charge, he paid obeisance at the historic gurdwara.
Addressing the officials, he said punctuality, discipline and transparency would be his priority. He said the the district administration would address grievances of the people and ensure that the benefit of government schemes reached the grassroots level.
