Father-son duo shot at

PATIALA:Two people suffered bullet injures in Tripuri on Thursday after a man allegedly fired at his neighbours.

Two people suffered bullet injures in Tripuri on Thursday after a man allegedly fired at his neighbours. The accused has been identified as Bhagwan Singh.

Police said the accused and complainant are neighbours. Cops said Bhagwan and complainant Sukhwinder Singh’s father entered into an altercation on Thursday morning after which the former fired two bullets from his gun.

One of the bullets hit the complainant and the other hit his father in chest. Police said the duo were undergoing treatment.

The police have registered a case against Bhagwan under Section 307 (attempt to murder) of the IPC and sections 25, 54 and 59 of the Arms Act.
