ROPAR: Dr Rajesh Kumar, an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Biomedical Engineering Department, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Ropar, has been awarded Ramalingaswami Re-entry Fellowship by the Union Ministry of Science and Technology for a period of five years.

Dr Rajesh Kumar, an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Biomedical Engineering Department, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Ropar, has been awarded Ramalingaswami Re-entry Fellowship by the Union Ministry of Science and Technology for a period of five years.

Dr Kumar’s research in biomedical photonics is one of the frontier areas of science and technology as light is rapidly becoming an important diagnostic tool and a powerful weapon for modern physician. — TNS
