Four events mark ‘Chai pe charcha’ campaign

Four events were organised under the ‘Chai pe charcha’ campaign in different parts of the city today.

Addressing the meetings, the Chandigarh BJP President, Sanjay Tandon, said, “No matter how much false propaganda is done by the Congress and the Opposition parties, the public of this nation is now aware of the good and honest work done by the BJP government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.” 

“The Congress manifesto promises to repeal the sedition law, if done this will be a grave danger to the security of country,” he added. 

“The government has passed the flyover project over Tribune Chowk, which once complete will help decongest traffic,” he said. 

“The BJP government has also raised the age limit for jobs from 25 to 37 years, which will benefit city residents. Also, interview for selection to Grade III and IV jobs has been removed,” he added. — TNS
