The entire garbage of the city has once again returned to the Dadu Majra dumping  ground as one of the major  machines of the JP garbage plant has broken down.

While officials of the garbage plant said the machine would be repaired by Monday, the fault  has increased the  pain  of residents of Dadu Majra due to stench. Sources  said the trommel machine  broke down two days  ago due to wet  garbage. The machine takes all garbage  from the dumpers and sends  it to the  plant,  but for the past  two  days,  no garbage is being taken  inside the  plant due to the  fault. An officer of the  plant  said engineers were working  on the machine and it was likely  to start  functioning from Monday.

The plant faced the  wrath of residents for not processing the entire garbage. Recently, the Governor and the  Mayor  visited the  plant  and directed to  improve its functioning.
