CHANDIGARH:Gurmannat won twin titles on the concluding day of the Yonex Sunrise Chandigarh State Ranking Tournament, which concluded at the Sector 38 Sports (West) Complex, here today.

Chandigarh, November 30

Gurmannat won twin titles on the concluding day of the Yonex Sunrise Chandigarh State Ranking Tournament, which concluded at the Sector 38 Sports (West) Complex, here today.   

She defeated Rakshita 19-21 21-19 21-19 to win the girls' U-13 title, while in the doubles final, she teamed up with Rakshita to defeat Avishi and Raiza 21-19 21-19. 

Uday won the boys' U-13 title by defeating Rehaan 21-18 18-21 23-21. In the boys' U-13 doubles final, Rehaan and Krishna defeated Aditya Kohli and Suryansh 21-18 21-19. Sarthak won the boys' U-15 singles final by registering a comeback win over Vaibhav 19-21 21-19 21-19. Deepinder and Jayan won the boys' U-15 doubles final by defeating Siddharth and Aswin 21-18 21-18. 

In the U-15 mixed doubles, Sarthak and Nimar won the final with a 21-15 21-16 win over Deepinder and Kanishka. In the girls' U-15 final, Shagunpreet ousted Samreen 21-10 21-19, while Samarveer won the boys' U-17 singles title by defeating Gurbaksh 21-1 21-18. 

Hasil and Yatharth defeated Jayan and Udayveer 21-16 15-21 28-26 to win boys' U-17 doubles title, while Milli won the girls' U-17 title by defeating Vrinda 21-18 17-21 21-17. Jasmin and Naina defeated Milli and Vrinda 21-15 21-17 to claim the girls' U-17 doubles event. Dhruv registered a 21-17 21-18 win over Gurbaksh to win the boys' U-19 final, while in the doubles final, Anushrav and Rishabh defeated Sanyam and Nikhil 21-19 21-15. 

Rashi won the girls' U-19 by defeating Nimanpreet 21-17 15-21 22-20. Anushrav and Naina defeated Sanyam and Arpita to win the mix U-19 doubles title by registering a 21-18 18-21 21-16 win. —TNS
