Gurvinder Singh scampered to 100m gold during the Annual Athletics Meet of DAV College, Sector 10, here on Monday. 

He was followed by Robin Singh and Raj Vardhan Singh in second and third places, respectively. 

Mamta topped the podium in the girl’s 100m contest. Payal Rawat finished second, while Garima bagged the third position.     

Divyanshi, Ayushi and Jagriti claimed top-three positions, respectively, in the gilrs’ 200m contest, while Payal Rawat bagged the gold medal in the girls’ 400m race. Jagriti pocketed the silver, while Kajal Pahal took home the bronze medal. 

In the girls’ 800 contest, Divyanshi pipped Alisha to claim the gold medal, while Payal finished third.  

Divyanshi also won the gold medal in long jump. Manisha won the silver, while Prabhdeep Kaur had to be content with the bronze medal. 

Ankita topped the podium in girls’ shot put competition. She was followed by Prabhdeep in second place, while Manisha occupied the third spot.  

Sachin Kumar, Rupinder Deswal and Manpreet claimed the top-three positions respectively in the boys’ 200 dash.

Darshbir Singh dominated the field in boys’ 400 contest. Akshay Phogat won the silver, while Shivam Chaudhary bagged the bronze medal.
