To facilitate the transfer of properties in a single window system, the Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) is set to develop software after which buyers and sellers will not have to visit the tehsil office at Mini Secretariat for giving finger prints.

According to information, the trial of the software would be held first in Panchkula and if successful, the same would be uploaded in computer systems in all zonal offices of the HSVP across the state.

Sources said the software would also help in preventing any fraud as it would identify the original allottee.

Earlier, both buyer and seller had to visit the HSVP as well as tehsildar’s office to give finger prints.

The IT wing of the HSVP has already started the work on the project on the orders of the administrator.

The software would be attached with the HSVP website, which could be operated from the computer system.

The IT wing was also trying to develop the software, which could be downloaded on mobile phones.

As per the plan, the software would be linked with the tehsil office and whenever a buyer or a seller would submit their finger prints, the same would be uploaded on the software of the office.

However, officials at the tehsil would not be able to get any other information from the HSVP site.

Some security measures have also been planned in the software and if the allottee gives wrong information or there is a wrong thumb impression or the Aadhaar card information of the allottee is not submitted, the file will not move.

Estate Officer Ashutosh Rajan said the IT cell of the HSVP was working fast for developing the software after surfacing of two frauds recently.

He said people had also complained that they had to move from one office to the other to submit their finger prints, which not only wasted their time but also delayed transfer of properties.

He said if the software was successful in Panchkula district then the same would be uploaded in other zonal offices of the HSVP.
