CHANDIGARH:A resident of Anantnag in J&K has been arrested with fake Aadhaar and PAN cards here today.

Chandigarh, April 20

A resident of Anantnag in J&K has been arrested with fake Aadhaar and PAN cards here today.

Cops said a woman called up the police to inform that a suspected Kashmiri terrorist was coming to Healing Touch Hospital, Sector 34, for treatment.

A police team led by SI Sharminder Singh apprehended Fayaaz Ahmed (42), his son Muneeb Ahmed (17), Shabzaar Ahmed and Irshad Ahmed, all residents of Anantnag district in J&K.

During Irshad’s search, cops recovered an Aadhaar card (178856540124) and a PAN card (DOSPK1329R), both in the name of Ajay Kumar and having Irshad’s photo on them. 

Cops called up the Dooru police station in Anantnag and learnt that Irshad was booked for a fraud there.

A case has now been registered against him at the Sector 34 police station. — TNS
