Jalandhar man held with huge quantity of liquor

Chandigarh, October 16

The police have arrested a Jalandhar resident for illegally carrying 33 boxes and 120 bottles of liquor.

According to the police, the accused, who has been identified as Vishal, alias Lucky Tandon, was arrested while he was carrying liquor in an Accent car. The accused was arrested near the road separating Sectors 20 and 33.

A case has been registered against the accused under the Excise Act at the Sector 34 police station.

The police have started an investigation into it.
